..why bother? besides, yuck(!) - love wasn't always a pastime.. or hobby.. but was the building block of society with people marrying and raising children.. children are less and less safe.. and society is collapsing..

Ugh, yuck, no I have not ever tried this, nor do I ever plan on trying this. For me, I don't believe it is right. I have friends who are this way and I still care for them the same, no matter what.
