China as a communist

china is clamed as a communist nation, but yet, places like hong kong(was under british rule until 1991 i believe) allow busnisses and open markets to other nations. people now have money, and are no longer equal as communism proclaims it to be. people are now able to make decision in their lives again, choosing their profession and such. is this just me to me, china is becoming something else and changing before the world even notices
