I am coming down with something. I am sniffling and my throat hurts so bad:(
My hubby just found out he has a bad resp. infection a few days ago and I have a feeling I got whatever he has.
So anyway, does anyone here have any good remedies that really work?
I have been taking elderberry extract and drinking ALOT of teas and vitamin water. Is there anything else?

One way to prevent a cold is by washing your hands frequently. This works very well. Also eat healthy food and exercise to have a good immune system. Drink a lot of orange juice.
Now when you already cought the cold, at the first signs you can take some medidcation like Echinacea and Goldenseal. I hope you will both feel better soon.

Oh yes, I am an avid hand washer!LOL!
We are both in the full blown illness phase, Erik was given Penicillin, and I am taking the elderberry/echinacea juice concentrate that I get at the health food store.
I HATE being sick, I have a quiz tonight...I think I am going to cry!
Thank you for your suggestions, I'll have to look into Goldenseal. I don't think I have seen that before.

I think it would be to keep yourself fit. Exercise regularly and eat right. Sounds easy?
Well, not really. :P
