Things partners do that annoy you

I'm a really placid guy. Friends say I am so laid back, I am almost horizontal.
My partner currently lives over 200 miles away and because of work commitments etc, we do not see each other often.
Even when I am really busy with work or at home, I always make time to send an SMS a few times a day or call him. Sometimes he doesn't respond for hours or at all that day and it really bugs me because he has way more time on his hands than I do.
What's worse is, when he sends me an sms, if I don't respond really quickly, he gets annoyed at me and I often get another sms asking why I am not talking to him! Double standards eh
I love him to bits and wouldn't swop him for anything but oh it annoys me.
Do you think I am petty for getting annoyed at that? Would you? And what annoys you about your partner?

I dont think you are petty for getting annoyed at that as you cant help the way you feel. What would be petty is if you were to hold it against him and turn it into a big argument.
My husband annoys me when he does the dishes. He expects me to be so grateful that he has done them but when I see what he has done I get annoyed because they are never washed properly and he doesnt wipe of the hob or the work surfaces and the sink is always left messy. I have told him about it but then he just says I always critise him and he wont do it in future.

oh my god,there are so many of them:)but i love him with all the defects he got:)
anyway i hate when he doesnt pee very straight in the toilet and i got to clean it all the time!he says,that his eyes are very bad(its true),anyway i think he is just a men so i forget him:)
