Care for eye area

What is the best way to get rid of bags around the eyes? Also, is there any way to tighten the skin around the eyes? With age the skin around the eyes become saggy and wrinkles start appearing. Dark circles become prominent. Please tell me how to handle this problem area on the face. I have tried expensive store bought products. But nothing seems to help.

Avon has a good anti-aging line called Anew and it always has great reviews in magazines such as Allure. As far as under eye puffiness I've always used a dab of Preparation H - you know the hemorrhoid cream lol. It really works though! It gets rid of the puffiness and dark circles I get when really tired.
