I cant believe it! Federer was beaten by Guillermo Canas twice this year! How can this be? Just as i was beginning to think that Federer is unbeatable! His winning streak was unfortunately ended.. too bad. Is Canas really that good? is it just luck? how could Federer be feeling right now? ...

Roger Federer's time at the top seems to be coming to an abrupt end. He has now lost to the same player in two back-to-back tournaments and this is inexcusable for a world number one. Guillermo Canas is no world beater and Federer should have dealt with him handidibly, but he was thoroughly outbeaten in both matches. Rafael Nadal now has a great chance to take the number one spot, especially with the clay season just about to start. The reign of Roger may have just ended.

Maybe there is something with Canas that federer just cant counter and he doesnt know about it. But yes, this is a good chance for Nadal.

I think that it is good for Federer to lose the odd match. It will keep him sharp and it will actually lessen the pressure off him. Instead of concentrating on keeping his unbeaten streak going, he can think about improvin gparts of his game. I don't know where the man can improve - he's brilliant on the court, but there's got to be something - no one's perfect.:)

federer can't win every tournament, there are many young players that partecipate in these tournaments and all want to win, you take players such as nadal, robredo, all play to win the tournament.
