Is it just me or is South Park becoming pretty bloody anymore?

I have always been a huge south park fan. but has anyone noticed that alot of the newest episodes all have some glorious bloody ordeal on them. What is the deal with it. I mean it is really not all that funny. They have taken it overboard and kind of just "not right" anymore.

I guess I really haven't payed attention to how bloody it has gotten, but now that someone has mentioned it I do. I still think it's a funny show, not meant for kids at all though.
