Of course not. I am just a naturalized American but our medium of instruction in my native country is English so I didn't have a hard time when I came in here. These people who come in here and expect the government to translate everything for them is quite crazy but it is really happening nowadays. I don't like it because billions are spent especially in our educational system, trying to translate materials into another language. This is an English speaking country, so if people doesn't do their best to speak the language, then they should just leave.

In L.A. County California the welfare department applications are so long due to the different languages they have to print them in.
This is unreal. After all isn't English the most widely used language in the world? Thats my take anyhow.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!

Hi Grandpa Bob,
You are so right...and right now, it is the minority who thinks everything should be printed in 10 languages. Unfortunately, our communities worry about the tiny percentage of Americans (yes, Americans) who think we need to spend tax dollars on such things just to be nice.

What! Give me a break! It is one of my pet peeves already that we have to be bi-lingual to get some jobs. I would expect to have to learn the language of the country if I moved somewhere else...why can't they? FREE? What do we who are citizens get for free?

i dont agree with that notion that they are going to give free language lessons to those entering without any knowledge of the language english is the most common and most used if you are going to a country you should at least try to learn at least a little if you are just a tourist its understandable but if you are going to buy things what you gonna talk with the salesclerk with a diffrent language or something lke that

These people came to this country knowing what language it used the should have taken the time before they came to learn it. Why should this country pay for them to learn its language. Did this country ask them to come here? Most likely they didn't.
