I was actually at the thrift store today looking for a spring jacket for my son. In fact, I'd made a mental note to myself that I was NOT going to look at the books. But, of course, I just HAD to. And I'm so glad I did. As some of you may know (especially if you checked out the library section of the site linked on my profile- Silver Sity) I'm a big Robert Jordan fan. I absolutely love the Wheel of Time Series. A friend of mine's husband introduced me to them about 6 years ago and I borrowed and read the whole series 2 at a time in about a month. Since then I've been picking them up in soft and hard cover either at the thrift store or on sale whenever I see them. I've had #1, #5, #8,9,10 for a couple of years now and haven't seen any others in such along time. Today at the thrift store I found book #3 and #4. Yay me!! Just totally made my day. I've read the ones I have over and over and am dying to read these ones. :)

Gotta love it when you find good stuff in the sale bin! I love hitting the trift stores in bigger cities for their book sections.

wow thats great for you, I love looking through the book section at the op shops, not that I am a reader because I am not but I have found some good books there to sell on Ebay when I was selling. I am so glad you found a treasure for yourself.

Congratulations on your find! I love it when that happens and we find something that we've been looking for for a long time at a thrift store. I like to think of it as treasure hunting and it's one of my favorite things to do. Robert Jordan writes some really good books too. Again, congrats on the exciting find.
