Robert Todd Lincoln, the son of Abraham Lincoln, was present at Ford's Theater in Washington D.C., on April 14, 1865, when his father was assassinated. He was also nearby on July 2, 1881, when President James Garfield was shot at the Baltimore and Potomac railroad station in Washington. And on September 6, 1901, he just happened to be a few feet away when President William McKinley was shot at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, New York... oooh that sounds a bit spooky doesn't it, maybe he was just there because he would go to a lot of presidents appearances or maybe h is a bit of a jinx, hard to say but maybe he should have given up going after the second one... it is strange.

that is a bit odd isnt it? but considering who he was related to..and i therefore assume that he was involved in politics also..would mean that he would be an expected attendee for such events. im sure it must be coincidence. surely there are others that just happen to be at the same functions. i hope. lol
