Hillary is getting pretty popular, but is having a female president a good idea? I would like to hear your pros and cons.

I'd love to see a woman as president. There is no reason why they cannot be so long as they are qualified for the position. That is all that matters. Not their gender, race, religion or what have you. It's what they can do for this country and the people in it. Do I want Hilary Clinton? No. I don't think she's the right one for the position. There are other women in this world though and I'm sure we will get the right one in. For now though I wish she'd realize it and bow out so that another might be able to move forward.

My feelings exactly! It's nice to see that we have finally moved forward enough that a woman presidential candidate is being supported but on the flip side of the coin, I don't want to see that particular woman running our country. Sorry Hillary fans. Just my point of view.

Having a woman as a president wouldn't be any worse than having a man as one..or a girl who used to be a guy, or a guy who used to be a girl..OR one of those rare people who're actually both. I don't judge people, let alone presidents by gender. If Hillary does a good job, okay fine. I'm not sure I want her specifically as the President. I kinda prefer Obama (sp?) over her..I mean, whatever, a girl president or an african american president, either way it's progress. So long as they're not really people bent on taking over the world or destroying it lol.

It isn't really the fact that she's a woman that concerns me. It's her temper. I think having someone other than a middle aged white male would be progress. I guess we'll see!

I'm not sure I'd vote for Hillary, if I could vote in the USA, but there's no problem in having a woman for a president. Come to think of it, there are plenty of men whom I wouldn't vote for either. I think it all depends on the individual candidate, and the kind of job they would do. Gender doesn't matter to me.

I'm not sure where I stand on this. I have mixed feelings. Hillary tends to have a temper and comes off as cold. We'll see if she improves before I feel good about trusting our country to her.
