What is your opinion on so called "Sting Operations" do they have a legitimate place in our Police Forces? We are taught that our finest, the Police or PEACE officers, are loyal persons of high veracity - that we can trust. Don't sting operations boil down to creative lying? entrapment? Are they a case of the Police becoming the Criminal in order to capture the criminal at their same game? I watched one of those dateline expose' shows and thought it was horrible. There has got to be a better way to capture these predators, than behaving in such a deplorable manner to trap them. The conversations the decoys have with the potential perpetrator are disgusting! it appears that the pretender has a sickened ability to be able to play the part.
