i think i've been suffering from insomnia for the past 13 years. it became worse when i started working at a call center. from there on ive officially become a nocturnal creature. no matter how stressed or tired i am, i can't get any sleep during my days off. now that i'm unemployed, i'm still having a hard time slepping at night. seems my body became used to staying up late during the wee hours. my wife is worried about my health - aside from being worried because i'm jobless hehehe! she said i should be resting whenever i can, while i still have the opportunity. i need help please. i really would appreciate every ounce of advise.

I have the same problem. Even if I take sleeping pills it doesn't put me to sleep. I usually try to distract myself before I go to sleep by reading a book or doing something else that is relaxing. They say that meditation helps, so I'm gonna give that a go. Did you try meditation yet?

i think that counting sheeps would be a stupid answer but the only solution is not to take advices here in mylot but to contact a specialized doctor which well known these problems, i think he can give same medical treatment and not to follow advice from not professional people
