Did u study with ur FRIENDS during EXAMS at your HOME ?

When I got my degree i would study with my co-students before all exams. One year my friend and I went to her cabin for a week right before our exam. We had made questioncards while reading all through the year. At the cabin we used them in a game. We asked eachother questions from the cards over and over again, until we both knew them all. It helped a lot! I believe both formulating the questions to go on the card, and asking them to eachother hade us so many pegs to hang our knowledge on - come exam day we were well prepared.

Your post certainly brought back nostalgic memories to me. While I did try to study with my friends, when we gathered, we would more often than not while away most of the time. Though one or two of us would be really serious, the others would get distracted in the middle and also end up distracting the others. So much so that we gave up studying together for crucial tests. After that, we have only met up to party together, and we have had lots of fun times together.

Wow cool ..wish i could get the same but never got any one to be with like this. All friends of mine are mean(one of my age) and others are younger or older. And of top of that parents never allowed me either but iam approaching for my engineering also so lets see wats burried for me. Its just a strating for me but I studied all alone! till today. studying with friends is good if you both a re serious about your goals, a kind of competition comes between you and your friend so learning becomes much more easier and faster with a great wiil and enthusiasum to study. hope I could get a friend like this in future. have a nice day.

Not really like the study group. But i do have for certain subjects, depends on what subjects. If it involve calculation or analytical then study group is better. But most subjects i took involve reading.. so not so possible. But we often formed study group to discuss anything we can't understand or discuss pass year papers.

I much prefer to hang around noisy places. Yes, you read right - noisy places. I can't study at quiet places as I find the silence too distracting. I am just the weird guy who like noise because it somehow gets me into the studying mood better. I don't study at friends' since it would be quite impossible for us to end up making merry and playing games. :P

i don't believe in group studies or studying with friends. we've tried studying for a thesis but we ended up just chatting the whole night. i still prefer studying alone in my room so i can concentrate very well. if i have questions and stuff about the subject i could just call them and ask. it's fun really but if you really want to study as in real studying i don't advice sleep overs with friends.

i used to do that cause now i am out of my college so studying at friends home question doesn't arise now. but yes, i have studied a lot at my friends home & we had a blast studying together. we used top the exams when we used study together & yes this is the fact cause this might sound impossible but this is the truth. we used to drink & smoke too. some of you guys may think then how did we manage our studies but wait a minute, this is the way i could give a proper attention to my studies, else i would have got a K.T. when i was into engineering my friends & i used live together literally. for a complete month together.15 days at my place & 15 days at her place.time was so crucial we didn't want to waste a single minute.. so we decided to stay together till the exams start we used to eat together sleep together & watch TV sometimes together when we got little bored of studying I cherish those little days & memories of my life which are so close to my heart we had so much fun. it would be so boring to study such a serious subjects alone but friends around we learn faster & don't really get bored, i think exactly the way u think. cause i also have spent much time with my friends like this studying at his & some time studying at my home. it is obviously having a lot of dun & studying hard too cause somebody is there to solve your problems & help you in the syudy & moral support we can never forget of course.

I remember when I was in class 10. 4 of us studied together the whole night together. Even though we had fun more and studied less but it helped us alot to prepare for exam.

I say staying home alone is better for studying. Each time I'm with friends, i feel i want to talk and that wastes my time.

Hi there. I personally don't like to study or let's just say I can't study and focus when there's somebody else around. When I was in college, my first class starts at 11 am, I go to school everyday, round 7 am, hear mass then go to the soccer field sit there and just relax then stay in the library till 10:30 am...that's where I'd rather stay, have a quiet time for myself, my books and my calculator. Then I grab a quick snack before going to class. When I get home, I prefer studying alone, when I need to remember something really badly, I ask everybody to leave me alone. lol but when I start solving problems, it helped me to listen to some soothing music. I heard that music (relaxing ones) can actually help you release tension and help you focus better.

when i was still in college, we also do this type of group study. but more often, we do stay at someone else's house everytime we make our papers. we make sure that we will make our parts so that we won't end up talking for the rest of the night. i find it better if my friends and i would just review on our own for the day and then ask each other questions the next day. it retains more in my mind than being together and do nothing but talk about things not related to our lessons.

Yes I used to till my 5th std.After that I ve moved on to a residential school where all of us stayed together.It was so much of fun to be with friends...My friends used to come my home to study.Even in between studies we used to make lots of fun.Its nice to study with friends as someone can explain certain things which others never understood or properly understood.When you discuss and study,it will never go away that easily from your memory...

i generally study alone in exams at my home but whenever i feel some problem related my study then i go to my friends home to solve the prob.

I can't do combined studies .... probably I have never tried out any time !

I used to do this in my school days . I have had a lots of night outs at my friend's place during exam times . Now a days I don't have such type of experience. Ya it was great fun.

No, I didn't study with my friends during exams. I prefer to have a quite area when I was studying. I used to study alone so that I could concentrate better and learn faster. I ever tried to study together with friends. At the end of day, we didn't study but we chatted other things (LOL).

i dont study with my friends during exams at home because i do like study our lessons by my own.When i study with my friends i cant concentrate with what im doing and i just keep on talking on them.i am the stype of a person that needs to be alone when i study my lesson and it is easy for me to comperehend our lessons if im alone.

yes we are doing it way back in highschool and college..

i am not into group study because i can't concentrate if i see other people or if there's a noise...
