Do you have to have highspeed or broadband to be a chacha guide????

I heard you need to have highspeed, broadband, or dsl in order to be a chacha guide...is this true? i have aol dial up and i really would like to be a guide i filled out the app, i started downloading the chacha toolbar thingy and it said after like an hour of supposedly downloading it, that it could not complete...if i upgrade to a faster internet connection can i be a guide? And a question to all chacha guides out there how much money on average do you make weekly? thank you for all replies
