What is your favorite TV show theme song???

Not from a movie - a TV show that is still running or a blast from the past. Be sure to tell the title, what show it came from, the singer or group and a few lines of it if you can remember. Mine is easy - I still 'groove' to Crockett and Tubbs! "The Miami Vice Theme" written and performed by Jan Hammer.

Well, I have quite a few of these favorites. My most favorite is the song from "charmed", I can't remember the name or the song, but I still liked it a lot. I also love the theme music from "angel", great violin and then rock out!!!! Of course, 'the Simpson's' theme will always be one of my favorites too. These days the shows don't really have any memorable theme music, expect 'desperate housewives' but I wouldn't really call it one of my favorites.

me too. i like the theme song of charmed. then i also like Roswell (here with me by Dido). what else? smallville too. it really fits in the show. so as tru calling, felicity (i like their soundtrack) as well as dawson's creek. then, i also miss The Wonder Years. i always watch it with my cousins. there's also doogie houser M.D. and 21 jumpstreet. lately, i appreciate how grey's anatomy compiles tehir soundtrack. though their theme is not that of a hit for me but still, they provide good ost.

I love the theme tune from the Australian soap on TV ," neighbours everybody loves good neighbours " it's really catchy xx

I actually agree with yours - I love the Miami Vice theme song. I have a friend who has to listen to it everyday as he drives across the 13 mile causeway from Tampa to St. Petersburg. I also love the theme song from the OC - "California" by Phantom Planet. Another good one is the theme they had on Smallville...something like "Somebody Save Me"...and finally I really like the theme song from Charmed - "How Soon is Now" but only because I've always liked the song even before they used it on the show.

It is a Filipino song, titled "pinoy Ako" from the current tv show here in Philippines "Pinoy Big Brother". So for all those Pilipino out there, i'm sure you know what im sayin.
