Animated Garfield in the movies looks nothing like the cartoon

You're absolutely right. The movies are nothing like the comics or the cartoons. I watched the first Garfield movie and was really disappointed by everything in it. First off, he looks nothing like 'Garfield' at all, down to the voice, it's nothing like I imagined his voice to be like. His owner isn't miserable at all, and that was what was most fun in the comics. Jennifer love Hewitt is just annoying, can't stand her, and she just makes the movie more unbearable. It's just one of those botched jobs that are far too many, when it comes to comic turned movies or game turned movies. They could've done a whole lot better.
