Yes, I have a mother-in-law named Leonila. She's really nice. Actually, I feel like I'm her favorite daughter-in-law. Maybe because I take her seriously unlike the others. I treat her with respect. Actually, she isn't hard to get along with. She sometimes seems like the one to do needed adjustments for us to have a harmonious relationship. To give you an idea, here's how I feel about her: She's always welcome for a sleep-over, I don't mind if she pays us a surprise-visit, I don't even mind if she'd want to live with us.

I havent met my mother in law yet. My husband is a foreigner and i am yet to go to their countrys till so will meet my new parents by then. I think nto all mother in law are terror or scary. There are some out there who accepts you completely as the new woman in their sons lives or what. But maybe to those who are indeed terrors, maybe they still cant get over the fact that they are not the only woman in their sons life anymore and that they are not the woman his son would go for help or anything he needs anymore.
