Flexible body jewelry??

So I read recently that these new flexible body jewerly pcs are supposedly less likely to be rejected by your body.....This is the first I've heard of that..Does anyone know anything about this??

While this sounds plausible, I don't know how much credence I would put in it, unless it's someone like the American Piercers Association talking about it. From everything I've heard, the flexible body jewelry is good for some purposes, but it's not necessarily intended for long term wearing. I certainly know that acrylic is not recommended for long term wearing, and much of the flexible jewelry I've seen thus far is flexible acrylic.

They are made out of PTFE (plastic). They are very bendy and are great for surface piercings they grow out alot slower because they can bend with the contours of the skin. All in all they are alot more comfortable
