Do you think going to college or university and achieving a degree will get you realy a good pay for job? Or do you think having a degree is useless?

In my country a university degree does make a difference especially if you want to apply for a job in a big corporation or the Government. In my own case I realized this when I could go no further in my career because I was missing that little piece of paper. I went to university as a mature student. It was very hard, I had a husband, children, a house and a cat to look after as well. In the end I did get a BA. Within two years it made a difference of $10,000 per year in my salary. By the time I retired the difference was $ 30,000 per year and it improved my pension. I am forever grateful to my family and friends who supported and encouraged me to take this step. Of course there are still opportunities for talented people without a degree, if they have the drive and motivation, it depends on the individual.

I would urge you to get at least a diploma in the field that you are interested in. In today's world post secondary education is really important for young people.

I think, just a minimum qualification is enough to get a good pay if you can work out your life. i know people who are doing very good in life just with the minimum school education....but again...if you are ambitious and want to grow...collage education is must.

Yes, i agree college education is must. But some of my friend without high education, they also can earn alot money. Then sometimes also confuse what the useful for high education.
