Does anyone have any great Easter traditions that they do with their kids?

My daughter is only 14 months, but I'd like to start a special tradition. I don't know if I should put something special in her basket each year, hide an Easter Egg, I need ideas. We are Christians too so if anyone has any ideas that would give my husband and I the opportunity to tell the Easter story would be awesome. I also love crafts/recipes, etc so if anyone has those that would be great!!!

Every year I give me children a trinket to remember the occasion by . Just something smallmaybe a bracelet or something. We put it in a keepsake box and every once in a while we take the things out so that we can share the meomories together.

Cool - that's a great idea. So they sort of have a little treasure box?

When we were little, we would color boiled quail eggs and then in the morning, before we wake up, my father would hide them everywhere in the house for us to find. We use quail eggs so that it would be harder to find coz they're smaller. And each color has their corresponding amount but my father won't give us money. But he'll bring us to the mall and we buy toys we want for the amount we earned. It was fun. You could try it.

That's a great tradition. Have you carried it on to your children. I'm not sure where to get quail eggs, but we could use regular ones.
