If given the same conditions like food, stress levels, living situation, working, and such other factors which influence OBESITY, including the age and other conditions, WHO would become OBESE? .. Men OR Women? I think WOMEN have something in their genes, to get obese. What do you say? and why?

I think it's the women. The reason is simple. I have seen a lot of women who is fat and less men.

as you can see from the above few comments, most of the people think women are more prone to be obese. In my clinical practice also, I have seen mostly women who are getting fatter by the day. Thankyou for the review. Even if scientific research points out otherwise. LOL.

I think women are more likely because we stay at home more with the children.

do you mean to suggest that children are the cause of women getting obese? I dare contradict with that opinion friend. Because, in practice, the mother would have to run along, and burn more calories, to rear her kids. But, yes. women tend to be OBESE faster than MEN in given similar situations. thanx.

I am a Natural Health Care Practitioner, and it has been my experience that, women, have a tendency to gain weight, easier than men do. A combination of, more fat cells, and hormone complications, can make it an uphill struggle for women, especially as they age.

Men are more inclined to be obese because women are usually more disciplined in their diet. Body image seems to be more important to women.

unfortunately friend, .. though women seem to be body-image conscious, ... they tend to become obese. as well explained, the factors are... one, childbirth, which brings in a tendency among women to ACCUMULATE fats. And, so, the prize goes to the first responder, .. (though, the natural health practitioner also told similarly, he is a doctor.. so, gave best response credit to the general replier). Thanx for respones.

If the factors where the same I would have to agree with you that women would be the ones who would turn obese. Because women are designed for child birth, there body's store food reserves for reproduction.

I think it would depend on what the factors are....I think in most cases more women will be obese than men but say, if they're both physically active but drink significant amounts of alchohol...the men will be more likely to be obese
