In my opinion, he isn't. Liverpool must find better strikers if want to get more rewards.

liverpool need a better striker.. thats for sure.. anyway soccer requires teamwork.. but to success they need a goal from a good finishing and of coz from a good finisher.. Kuyt is good but not good enough to challenge at a highest level.

True. Who do you think Liverpool should buy?

all that liverpool need are sum1 who always guarantees 20 goals a season...some one to the likes of owen or Van nistell rooy. these two are close to impossible options..so who else can liv get? Villa or berbatov would be a good option.

i dont think spanish striker would be good playing in EPL. as we see Morientes played better at Valencia and Reyes also better at Real Madrid compared to their former club. Eto from Barca would be good or Brazilian one.

to me Kuyt is good striker compare to other two. Yeah no man perfect and even ronaldo have been sold by Real, Saviola in tranver list, this two striker is world class striker. Givi him time and we hope he will perform.

Ronaldo was sold becasue of the coach's bad attitude to him, not his skill. Saviola's sold because of his skill makes him difficult to go into the team.

well personally i am not a liverpool fan at all but they are performing great lately so i feel there is no need to replace anyone and they should keep their team exacly as it is. i mean look at chelsea they brought some big names in and it didnt do them much good. I feel in with the new and out with the old is over used and should not be done. If there is nothing to fix dont try and fix it. cheers Plunt

Excellent point. It's true that it's difficult to buy someone who can go into the team asap for any club. But i still think a good striker is necessary for any team.

He is not all that bad finishing up if he gets a good cross from the flangs ... in fact its not the strikers that they need but they really need someone solid in the flangs

Yeah, they have found good strikers for several years after Owen left.
