I believe my ministry is my newsletter e-zine. It has been a minister to so many people since I first published in Sept 2003. Many people have actually called me an angel for doing it.

I run a ministry on a secular college campus. I minister to American and international students. I've been doing that for about 12 years, now and will most likely be doing it until Jesus comes.

We might call one thing or another our ministry, but there is one "ministry" every Christian has, and that's presenting Christ to the world. I was getting ready to go to bed when an email came in with this link to a video:

Every Christian is given at least one spiritual gift, to be used to encourage and assist the local body of believers. I have been blessed with a number of gifts, but I do not boast in saying this. I know that of myself, I could do nothing, and everything I do is ONLY because of what Christ has done and is doing in my life. It is only as the Holy Spirit enables and empowers me that I can achieve anything.
I have known, loved and served my loving heavenly Father, through the Lord Jesus Christ for 48 of my 70 years. In that time I have used His gifts to teach children, teenagers and adults. I have worked in organisation and administration. I have worked as a secretary and treasurer and I do a tremendous amount of design work and writing lesson materials and camp programs. I have also done a lot of counselling over the years.
As far as active ministry goes, I have always had a very full life, but I believe the biggest blessings for me have been in one-on-one relationships, counselling, nurturing and leading people to faith in Christ. A life of "doing" is worthless if not backed by a life of "being" and a life of "being" is impossible unless there is a life of "abiding in Christ".

I believe my ministry is to reach out those who have been a fellow believer and somehow got lost.
Also, i've been involved in community, family ministry even though i am single, i prefer to be with mommies in the urban poor areas.

Right now, I am into 3 ministries, one is the " singles ministry" - we do fellowship every thursday, we minister to singles on the church and we do several projects too like the current one we're into , providing scholarship to our less fortuante church members..we do a lot of fundraising here.
the other one is with the urban poor (kids) in one of the depressed area in Pasay (philippines)- we do feeding and teaching programs to at least 80 kids every saturday, we just finished treating them on a mini carnival last weekend, sort of treat for finishing another school year.
and the last one is with the music ministry which was being led by my husband.
But I beleive, serving God is not being measured by the ministries, living day by day for Him and just being you as His child is giving Him glory too.
God bless everyone!
