Dell Computers- What a rip off???

March 29, 2007 10:20am CST
I recently bought a new Dell pc. It cost £900. It is good, but when I look around and see the prices of what I paid for the components and extras with my pc I feel sick. It is not like there is a small difference in prices, they are huge! How do they get away with this scandal? example- 2x 2 Sticks of DDR2 RAM, Dell's price £180 eBay's price £75. I think this is a scandal and would like to hear if you have been swindeled by any companys recently? I would also like it if you could take the time to check out my site - http://www.freewebs.com/freesonyplaystation3/ Cheers.

I would never consider buying from Dell mainly because of the inflated prices. There are many pc specialists that have been in business for many years and that offer you to custom build a pc for reduced prices compared to prices that Dell offer. two of the sites i would highly reccomend you take a look at are: http://www.computerplanet.co.uk http://www.ebuyer.com

I am currently using a refurbished dell and only paid $350 for it. I am currently waiting for a brand new dell to come in within the month and I am very excited about it. What you seem to be forgeting is with Dell you are getting QUALITY, with ebay you could be getting a used product that mat or may not last as long as brand new. I am going to take my refurbished Dell and give it to my kids while I take the new Dell for myself. I know that this computer is a good computer and they will get many years of use out of it before I have to replace it.
