Refrigerators nowadays come in different sizes and with more and more innovations. What are the features in a refrigerator which make you choose the ones you have now. And if you are planning to buy a new one, why?
The one I have now has become too small for us. I must take hold of a bigger one soon and fast.

I look for one in a price range I can afford usually second hand.Right now I have a side by side I have it because I got it for a cheap price when a pizza place went out of business here were I live so I got lucky,I don't want a refrigerator with alot of fancy stuff as it cost more to repair just the bear essentials a freezer and a big enough storage space in it and the refrigerator to do the job.I hope you have good luck in your search.Do not be afraid to ask if they can take a lower price it never hurts sometimes it helps in the long run.

You are a very lucky woman. I hope I can have some your luck coming my way, too. The one you have right now is very expensive stuff here in my country.

MIne is a two-door ref, 10 cubic feet , no-frost and it holds its coolness up to 12 hours when there is power failure. It's performance is great. Imagina an ice cream placed in the freezer, remains in its original state even for weeks. Meats that I purchased for one week stays as fresh as they were on the first day that I boughtit.

I like the refrigerators that are side by sides with ice & water in the door. They are just so much more convient. The one I have now is a white one but my friend has one that is light blue with dark purple swirls, pink butterflys & hearts on it. I've never seen one like it. He said that he got it from his sister. I dont know if she painted it or what. But it looks great, like it came that way. But I've never seen any other ones that look like that.

You have a good refrigerator unit. That friend of yours was lucky to have bought a customized painted unit. You can never find anything which is painted that way in any appliance store. If you know of anyone who knows how to do it, then you can hire him to do it for you. There is some kind of particular paint which they use for that.

We bought a new fridge and I love it. I look for a big freezer compartment on the top so I'm not always having to run down stairs to the deep freezer but for goodness sake make sure the new fridge will fit in the space where the old one came out of. We guessed at it and we under estimated and it resulted in having to cut the cupboard 1/2 inch shorter. The Good news is I love my fridge LOL

That's the advantage of having new refrigerator units. They have so many features now that make some of its functions so easy. Just as you say, they now come with water and ice buckets at the door. Very convenient, really.

We have a standard size refrigerator at home.It is running for almost 7 years already and still at its well condition. The freezer is quite big enough for storage of raw meat.It has a space ready for a gallon of ice cream.I always clean our refrigerator every month in order to make it clean and tidy as possible.

You already have a sizeable refrigerator which suits the needs of the family. We are using quite a small one now. It was fine having it before because there was another one which was much bigger. The bigger one though was brought to the province in the hope of using it in the farm. This is the reason why it has become imperative that I take a new unit.

i am hoping to get a bigger refrigerator soon. and ofcourse, with a big fridge for sure.
i also am planning to get the no-frost kind of refrigerators. better since there is no more need to defrost them from time to time.

We actually have two right now. We got them a couple of years ago and the prices were very good. The one in the house is a side by side and it's by Roper. Roper is a generic version made by Whirlpool. It came with the ice maker and water dispenser in it. Since we got such a good price on it (we had been expecting to pay well over $1000 for one and it ended up being around $700) we got a regular fridge for the garage, which trust me we use a lot. It has the top freezer and bottom fridge. It's a very basic one also by Roper and it was under $300 so we got both for less then we planned on for the one. We had gotten them from Lowes, they had some great prices. We had gotten all new appliances at the time, stove, fridge, washer, dryer and a dishwasher and spent less then we had planned on and got more then we planned on to boot. We hadn't planned on the second fridge or the dishwasher and we also got a gas grill in with it for outside. We were more then happy.
