Bunnies, baskets, cadbury eggs, crosses, etc.? In my opinion the symbol that makes me think of easter the most are dyed and decorated hard boiled eggs. I equate the holiday with taking my daughter to easter egg hunts.

Hahaha. That's the same as adults (young ones anyway) going out trick-or-treating. When I was a kid my mom always used to hide my basket and my siblings' baskets around the house on Easter morning. It was our own version of an egg hunt. This year I'm starting that tradition with my own daughter. Thanks for answering.

Pastel colors...that's a good one. You don't really see dark colors on Happy Easter signs and whatnot. I suppose chocolate brown would be the darkest color of Easter. Thanks for responding.

However true that may be, general society still symbolizes Easter with bunnies and colored eggs. I didn't ask about the origins of Easter or it's multiple symbols anyway.
