Hi everybody. I have discovered that many many , If not all , Have no idea about what Quraan says and what it order and claims . so I decided to begin this series to let more people listen how we read Quraan and its meanings . In this discussion I had chosen a part of chapter : The Ants . it is a long chapter saying about ants of solomon and what they said when the saw his army . but the numbers I had chosen say nothing about the ants . I will post these other numbers in another discussion . to download the audio file from here http://www.rapidshare.com/files/23372543/sorat-alnaml-59-64.rm.htm and here is the translation 59. Say:Prais be to Allah, and Peace on his servants whom He has chosen (for his message). (Who) is better? - Allah or the false gods they associate (whith Him)? 60. Or,Who has created the heavens and the earth, and Who sends you down rain from the sky? Yea, with it we cause to grow well-planted orchads full of beauty of delight: it is not in your power to cause the growth of trees in them. (Can there be another) god besides Allah. Nay, they are people who swerve from justice. 61. or,Who has made the earth firm to live in; made rivers in its midst; set thereon mountains immovable; and made a separating bar between thetwo bodies of flowing water? (can there be another0 god besides Allah. Nay, most of them know not. 62. Or,Who listens to the (soul) distressed when it calls on Him, and Who relieves its suffering, and makes you (mankind) inheritors of the earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah. Little it is that ye heed! 63. OrWhoguides you through the depths of darkness on land and see, and Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy? 9can there be another) god besides Allah. - High is Allah above what they associate with Him! 64. Or,Who originates creation, then repeats it, and who gives you sustenance from heaven and earth? (Can there be another) god besides allah. Say, "Bring forth your argument, if ye telling the truth!" thanks everybody , and try to answer these questions to be continued

I too own a quran and have read it several times, ive also read your other posts staking claims to bible contridictions. HAHA, the quran has no room to talk my friend, its one big contridiction stuffed full of many others. The quran shifts all of its commands and beliefs as muhammed grows in political power. The more powerfull he gets politically the more changes are made in the quran. First it teaches tolerance, then it says forget tolerance, kill the infidell. First it teaches love and peace, then it changes to jihad. there is so much shifting and self contridiction in that book its uncanny and repulsive. A murdering, child molesting, rapest's rise in political power and influence is hardly grounds for divinity. Regardless of the perspective of who God is, if its not a God of love and harmony, of caring and compassion that i want nothing to do with that God.
