sad film!

I watched this for the first time last month, got really into it and I was devastated when she died at the end! Does anyone else think it was a bit mean that Meg Ryan's character died? Would have been a much more heart-warming film if they had lived happily ever after...

I saw this movie once and only once. After I saw the ending I was so upset. Its a good movie but I dont want to see it again. I know this doesnt make sense. Does anyone else feel this way?

ive seen this movie 8 times i think and i even have a dvd, im so into it. it doesnt make sense maybe in some ways but i think the main theme of this movie is that "if you really love someone, are you willing to give-up anything?", remember when seth's angel friend asked him, "if you know that this will going to happen would you still do it", then seth replied, "i would rather have one breath of her hair, one touch of her skin, one kiss of her mouth than eternity without it". i forgot the exact conversation but i know im close to it.

I watched this film a couple of years ago. The re was a line there. I'm not sure the exact words but it's something about the character of Nicholas Cage (Seth Plate) saying that he would give up everything just to spend a moment with Meg Ryan's character. Meg Ryan's character dying actually makes the film better for me. It's about love you'd rather have and loose than to not have at all.

Watched this several times now and i must say that it's one of those films that i could watch over and over. Yes it's a bit mean for Meg Ryan's character to die but it would have been a really cheesy film if she had lived (hehe) and of course we won't get to listen to best line on the film "I would rather have had one breath of her hair, one kiss from her mouth, one touch of her hand, than eternity without it."
