So What If I Consider Homosexual Acts Immoral...

Are you offended by people who consider homosexual acts immoral? If you are, my question to you is, why do you care? I understand why people are outraged when gay people are attacked or abused because of their sexuality. However, should we be outraged by the attack against a gay person, or by the fact a person was attacked? How have we allowed our society to get to the point that a person's job or freedom can be in jeopardy simply because they choose to not respect homosexuality? It is bigotry to hate a person because they are gay, but equally bigoted to hate a person who simply chooses to consider homosexual acts immoral.

Everyone has the right to disaprove of someone else's behavior. That includes homosexuality. I don't approve of it; I consider it immoral, but that doesn't make me a rascist or homophobic.

Exactly! So why is it that people are at risk of losing their jobs or facing charges simply because they don't approve of the gay lifestyle?

I consider being gay as choosing to do so. There are those who would have us believe that they are born gay and therefore don't have a choice. It is my considered opinion that this idea is utter hogwash. The only reason that people want to claim that they are gay by birth is so that they can manufacture a "right". They want to have the same type of civil rights as any ethnic group, and if gayness is considered a lifestyle choice than that is unlikely to happen. As far as why are peoples jobs in jeopardy if they don't approve of the gay lifestyle, that is simply because great strides have been made towards making the gay lifestyle socially acceptable. It is now politically correct to oppose anyone who opposes that lifestyle. Gay rights are very close to being law, and gay bashing is already considered a hate crime. Not too shabby for something that once was legally considered deviant, niot to mention morally reprehensible.
