Corzine and ethics?

The latest from the cesspool...NJ's governor, John Corzine, is having a previous relationship with a former girlfriend being investigated. Why? He may have given money to someone who is high up in the Democratic party. The controversy isn't that..it's that the committee to investigate is his OWN ethic committee. I swear, a monkey could be elected here...I mean, first we had Christie Whitman, a Republican who resigned to become head of the EPA (which she also resigned from!); the we had Jim McGreevy, a former mayor who borrowed us into unbelievable debt (then he came out and resigned!); and now we've got Corzine, who's being investigated by his own people? I suppose it could be worse...John Street (currently mayor of Philadelphia) could run...or even scarier--his big brother Milton! Yikes!

My first thought is what does the previous relationship with former a former girlfriend being investigated? What difference does it make who this guy dates, it's what he does for the city in the position he carries right? I swear people once they get into politics or any high profile job that is in the media spot light can't have privacy to save their lives when it comes to relationship. GRRRR. Mind you I live in Pennsylvania so I'm not up to date on the NJ governor.

It has to do with finances. He's really unpopular, but he's only doing what he was elected to do--save our state! Now if he was openly gay like our last elected governor, then you'd hear about him! It's ridiculous--Corzine didn't lie about what was going on (at least that hasn't come out yet), but Clinton did. Frankly, who cares what these guys actually do in the bedroom is beyond me. It's a good thing that there aren't state pools to open in Pennsylvania...I'm the the Philadelphia news market and had to endure eight years of seeing Ed's hairy back when he cannon-balled into the pool to open the city pools! YIKES!

yuck ed's hairy back thanks for the mental scaring. But your absolutely right what they do in the bedroom behind close doors we should not invade or make it public news. It's a shame that they do that in this day and age.
