TORNADOS: Over 60 tornadoes across the USA yesterday

I've never been in a tornado, but I've been close to them twice. One came thru my home town, but I was just behind it, so I never saw or heard it, then the next time I was at work and I came thru in front of it, then it hit the town where I'd just been killing one and injuring a few more. It must be really bad and I am not sure what causes it, other than hot weather, v/s cold weather.

we had about six of them around Oklahoma city yesterday. Scary stuff. I have never been in one but I have been really close to them. My road is completely flooded right now, all the way up in my yard and it is still raining. I lost my trash can down the road a minute ago and had to go chase it down. My husband video taped me chasing it. I fell on my butt and start floating down the road. He thought that it was funny. I am sitting here soak and wet on the coach typing away. I made hime cook dinner because he laughed. I will teach him a lesson!!!!

Thanks God there are no tornados here in this zone of the South Atlantic. Only storms with strong winds.

We don't have them very much. I am glad of that. this is the season for it. March , ApriL May.I live on the Northern part of Ohio it mostly happen in the South of Ohio.

We never have it here, which is good. The worst is ice storm in winter in my town. My husband said there is always tornado in the US this time of the year, but I don't think it's normal that many on a day. There must be something awfully wrong with our climate now.

THese are just terrible. I can't imagine how scary it must be to live through one or even worse, to die in one. There is something definitely going on weather related in our world. The storms seem to be getting more intense and longer lasting with huge extremes. It is a little concerning to think about !!
