I think it's not an easy task to give a definition of what a blog is. I would say it's kind of an internet diary. The best you can do is to read quite a lot of them and then you'll have an opinion of your own.

A blog is a sort of online diary where you can write whatever you want and also other people can add there own comments. The word is made up from weB LOG.

A blog is just a website that is easier to manage. It is hard to understand it.. easier if you experience it yourself. You can head over to www.blogger.com and get a free blog for yourself. Read the FAQ and play around with it. ;-)

Yes, I am able to create a blog too by myself but can't share the link with you right now as I feel it's not very great. Creating blog has been making me sleepless from last few days and last night I was able to start my own blog . To be true it wasn't very great but okay . I'm learning and will soon understand this concept of blog.
