No because you wouldn't be their friend you would be their door mat. Friends are supposed to have mutual respect for each other and I don't think I could respect someone so desperate that they would do anything for me just on order to be friends.

I am a people pleaser, but not to the point where I would sacrafice my ethics, convictions, judgement, and or self worth. I believe in treating people the way you would want to be treated, but not where you are putting yourself and needs last. If someone really needs a favor, then yes, I will accomodate and do whatever I can to help them. But to constantly appease, then i think you are being unkind to yourself. I guess the thing to ask, is if you saw a friend being used, and exploited to make other happy, what would you say to her? Then you need to tell yourself the same thing.
