Where did you get your dog from?

I had two Pomeranian dogs, both female and we got them from a pet store in the mall. The first one, Puff was a little red ball of fluffy fur, about 2 months old and she weighed all of maybe 2 1/2 pounds. She had been born in May [my birth month also]. She was adorable. The other pomeranian we bought nearly a year later and she was also around a couple of months old, black and tan, and I think she weighed less than 2 pounds. She was very small. As we were paying for her, we found out that both dogs were related, had the same sire. We found that funny but we were very happy with our purchases. Both dogs brought so much joy to our lives, especially mine since I spent the most time with them. Both dogs considered themselves to be my dogs [as did I!]. I had them for 14 and 15 years and I am very glad that I knew them both. I loved those dogs. I sure miss them though!

It was one of those usual grocery day days. As I got out of the mall, I saw some puppies being offered for sale at one of the sidewalks. They were all cute ones of course. I chose the one who looked most different from the rest. The speckled one was a stand out but not as beautiful as one will desire to have, but it suited me fine.

My first dog, Michael, a mixed breed of japanese spitz and poodle was given to me by a high school sweetheart. He served me and my family very well. He passed away a few years ago. About a year later, we got another puppy, this time I bought him from a friend of my former office mate. I named him Michael - he's a mixed breed of poodle and shih tzu. My baby! :)

Well, we had dogs last time but after a year or two, it would die..:( now, we have our dog right now and she is pregnant and soon to be giving birth. We had her from my bf's friend, his friend gave the dog to him barely amonth old because the dog's mother was killing her puppies.

I got my chihuahua from a breeder. I knew as soon as I saw her that she was the puppy I wanted.

My children asked for a dog. I decided that if I was going to get the kids a pet then I thought we should adopt from the local humane society. We adopted two german shepards from there. I knew that I didn't want to pay a breeder for a puppy since you hear so many bad things.

we brought her home from one of my brothers friend who has a dog that had puppies and gave one to my brother for us. also so we can play with her.

I got mine off reputable Registered Breeders. But before that we always got ours from the shelter.

i got my first dog when i was 13 years old from a good friend of mine and also a classmate. i felt excited that i even sing a song for jericho (chosen name for my dog, funny, cause it's a girl!.. LOL)whenever i feed it. so, now, Jericho is 6 years old, and i got no plans on changing it with a girl's name.. smile! ;D
