Chain letters in Friendster bulletins

Chain letters are a fab in friendster. Chain letter contains death threats by a woman who's killed in an accident, murdered person and etc.
I found these chain letters amusing but sometimes horrifying. I really don't read these kinds of bulletins but sometimes, I end up reading one. It is because of the threat that once you start reading you have to do it all the way up to the end.
I think posting these bulletins are not necessary. It is just a waste of time. Do you think that it is also?

I never had goose bumps out of reading those "horrifying" chain letters. And never I had been amused of them. I think those chain letters are ought to be trashed the moment I receive them. But when it comes to reading bulletins, I'm not as intolerant as with chain letters. Some bulletins are worth reading especially those coming from my friends. It's a way of interacting with my friends through a hassle-free mechanism since sending invidual message will take more time.
