If you travel a lot, do you buy things from other countries? What is the thing you bought somewhere you can't find in your own country?

I a travel a lot all around the world for my job and for my pleasure. Usually I don't buy a lot of things because I think I can find anything in my country. If you are talking about souvenirs, yes I do but not for me or my house. I buy often snow globe for a friend of mine that collect them.

I normally find something cute or unusual. It can be as simple as a mug or coaster but sometimes they have very funny or nice design. The reason I go for something unusual is because I probably will not go back to that place again so I really want something to remind me of the place...xx

When I went to the Bahamas last June, I did buy some things while there; I also bought a bunch of postcards to send elsewhere more than anything. I did the same when I went to New York for a friend who asked me, and that's about it.

I try not to pick up lots of souviners when I travel. I usually will buy my kids each a t-shirt. Last month I was in cancun and picked up a hand made braclet with my daughters name on it, a hand made purse, and some tiles that a guy painted on with his fingers...they were quite pretty.
