A biography is a memoir about someone else; and autobiography is a memoir about you. I am assuming you know this and are talking about writing about someone else's life. I have considered writing a memoir of sorts regarding my life with fibromyalgia. Well, all I have done so far was made up a list of chapter titles. This is sort of an outline. It is hard to remember what happened when so writing in proper timeline is more difficult. For my case I would write about certain issues regarding the illness: before, my theories, the illness itself, my struggles with family, my struggles with insurance, etc. It really depends on how you want the book to take shape. But I think doing an outline is a good place to start.

You could be creative and start at the future... I know that would be impossible for a biography but i think it will be a good material... Start at the future then do some flash backs to the past and wallah! you have your biography... Well, of course that's just me.., don't listen to this crazy fool. You'll know what to do.
