I got almost half a dollar for the last discussion I wrote. I can say this confidently, as that is all I have wrote yesterday - I have not written ANYTHING exceopt that discussion - so I can easily make up that my dicsusion earnings are SOLELY out of that particulat discussion. I am confident about it, as the past few days 'discussion earnings' reads 0.00 cents. So, there i no doubt that these earnings are ONLY out of that particular discussion.
And surpringly, its one of those discussions, on which I got least number of responses. I get about 40-50 responses on an average on any of my discussions, but on this one I got around 20.
Hmm, so I guess myLot has finally increased our earnings... Thats good to see, as I was not very much pleased with the new set up.
Anyways a few questions for you as well:
1. Have you noticed improvement in your earnings too?
2. If yes, are you happy with this increment/ improvement?
3. What about the new look? Are you impressed with it? I think it's cool, specially the 'weather' feature, but I wish, (and I think they should bring this back) that the front page of myLot should still open with 'Hot discussions' (as it used to be earlier).
After all the godwill of this site is as a discussion forum.. right?

I stll am wondering if we get paid for the responses we get because i posted to about 30 discussions and i made 1.05 for yesterday which i love the increased pay that came to about 4 cents or so a discussion.
I like the new layout better then the old. I love the increase in pay, maybe now my referral will post.
You know you can put the hot topics on that page, or havent you played around with it yet. But to put the hot topics on there you have to take something else off.

I seem to have made more money for my replies yesterday than I have done previously, I rarely start discussions and I don't think any of mine got any replies yesterday yet I've made 15 cents. That doesn't sound like much but I'm sure I didn't post that many replies.
I expected something a bit more dramatic for the new look but the blogs feature looks interesting I can't wait till it covers world wide blogs.

i c, i havent checkt the blog thingy out.. but i wish the fornt page of site should open as 'top discussions' n not as our personal profile page. i m quite sure thaey have increased our earnings, n i can c some cleare increment, u wil realised it in a couple of days. all the best.

I always complimented yo that you have a good writing skills. And because of your beatiful writing you get good earnings as well as responses for your discussions. But yes mylot has increased their earnings a bit because I have also earned more comparitively.
So I have noticed improvement and I am very happy for it as our hard work will give us more money. And yes the new look of mylot is also good.

Yes, the earnings do seemed to be improved. More like a few months ago. I am more content now with the earnings as long as when the time to tinker before payday it stays or improves the earnings for the lesser time. Don't want to lose what was already awarded.
The new look is eye candy and not worth it since there are still aggrevating glitches to fix. I do not see these glitches on any other site. I already have weather on my desktop and don't need it at this site to slow it down more.
Time will tell if Management truly listens and starts to fix the things that need it instead of listening for the things to gum up the works. Good luck to you and your earnings!!

Thought I was the only one who noticed. I never really worked hard today, I only responded to a few discussions but I got more earnings that what I usually earn. I think I only have about less than ten posts today. I am not complaining. I think it's pretty cool. :) But, I really do not care about the money really. Yeah,I love mylot because they pay, but it's the discussions I loved the most.
About the new look, I really loved the new look today. (--,) I loved it much better now that it has some weather stuffs. About the hot discussions, you can always check it out. (--,)
I really appreciated all this hard work. I musy say mylot has been doing a great job! :) Congratulations and goodluck to everyone. :)

hmm, i too was able to notice it clearly as i one do a few postings a day, n sometimes it could be only one post in a few days time! yeah, u r rite, mylot is much more than the money thingy, but sure money does motivate u 2 work hard n improve...

Well i just started mylot 2 days ago and ive barley made 20 cents but i havent been writing alot so i guess i'll start now. I like this web-site its the best i've been to. I like all the features and everything it has to offer. Too bad its only for people 16 and above because all off my friends would be here, well at least some of them.I wish i was here sooner so i could have had more money and so i could have seen all the changes. I think its great that this websit is all over the world. You get 40-50 responses!?! Thats great. The most i have gotten so far is 7 but i am just a starter i need more experience. Well thanks for the info this will really help me out.

dont worry, u will well, once u get 10-12 responses, then ur dicussion gets featured into top discussions, n after that it doe not gets ignored, so mamanging 40-50 responses is no ig deal once u make it into 'top discussion'. all the best.

Oh my god..is it???i have been off mylot for a while and now i am back..and i am very happy to hear that mylot has increased the earnings..because i was very disappointed by the way mylot paid those days..i respond to many topics and start a few discussions but hardly i get sufficient money..that was the main reason why i stopped mylot for a while..but now that they have increased their payment , i think i ll check it for myself and then i will once again be a busy and and active member of this site..i havent reached my minimum pay out yet..and i require only a dollar to reach there..so i think i must work hard to reach there and then atleast i can get my minimum payout and get paid for the work i have done so far..

I have noticed an increase in my earnings also . I didn't expect to get as much as I did the last couple of days and was quite excited to see what I had made on both days . I am definitely happy if they have increased our earnings as I was disappointed when I first logged in here and saw that the only thing they had changed was our home page which I never used to begin with as I was hoping some how we would be able to increase our earinings a bit more when they sent the post out that something big was happening and to be on the look our for it .
I do find the new look has a nice touch to it although I have not spent a lot of time checking it out .

I was surprised at how much I earned yesterday for no more than I was here. I was gone from the site most of the day, and so I spend very little time here. I really did not expect to make more than a few cents for the time I was here.
As for the new layout of the site, there are good and bad points to it. I think though that any of those things that we find annoying we will get used to after a while.

I got paid a lot more than I expected for yesterday as well.
It is great that the earnings are a bit higher now as it was getting really difficult just to earn $1 a day when I was earning over $2 a day when I first joined.
I like some of the aspects of the new look, but I was happy with the way it was before as well.
The thing I like the most is being able to code your own html for your profile page.

Oooppss! I thought it's only me who have noticed the increase. About couple of days ago, when I opened mylot, i was totally surprised that my earnings was 2.05. That was the first time I have that kind of earnings because before, even a dollar is really hard to reach. And for my yesterday's earnings, it was 1.03. Kinda lower than the other day, but somehow it makes me happy that for 2 consecutive days, my earnings have increased already.
ANd i'm quite wondering what could be the exchange for this increase. Does it also mean that the minimum payout would also increase?
Like for example, the day I joined mylot, the minimum payout was $10, next was $20. And when I checked it couple of weeks ago, minimum pay is still $10, but the next one is $25. Does this also mean that by next week or so, next to $10 will become $30? :( I hope they won't make such tremendous change. :)

as i c it, they have calulated there past financial year's profit, n have noticed a fiar increase, and hence they decided to share a part of it with us, the members in this new financial year (which starts frm 1st april 07).
i didn't got that minimum payout thing u r talking aby... i dont think they r gona change it from 10$.

I too have noticed that my earnings have improved somewhat. Of course I'm happy about that, although to me personally, it's not about the money anyway. I was very surprised to see that I earned over $2 yesterday because I haven't earned that for some time.
I'm not too sure about the new look of Mylot, I just don't see the point lol. I do like that they personalized it somewhat but it looks too "busy" so to speak and looks cluttered.
No matter how many times I close some of those columns, they pop right back up when I open the home page again.

ok from your questions.
1 yes i think it is better than it was at the beginning of this month. However it is still much worse than it was 2 months ago, when i used to earn 2 dollers everyday and 3 to 4 on good days.
2 Yes im happy with mylot now they have stopped trying to extinct the payments, (see first answer)
3, the new format doesnt bother me, not like the last one did when they shrank everything.
Im very impressed that you got so much for just launching one discussion, ive not heard of this before, i thought you only got paid for posting

I saw improvements in my earnings in the last few days but i was also posting more trying to reach the payout level before the end of the month. I didn't calculate how many posts and how much earnings, it's just my guess or what it seems to be that I'm getting more money per post now but I can't be sure yet.
As for the new mylot update, it's ok, I like the new profile page and this is the only improvement that count for me, the rest I do not use or notice and doesn't make much difference to me.

since i've not made myself available for myLot this few days, i haven't notice anything yet. but i do get an email from myLot saying about a new upgrade. so today i logged in and to my surprise, a BIG change indeed. i haven't had enough time to explore all the function in myLot since i'm still new (only two weeks since i joined) and my earnings so far is not even $1 yet LOL. But if it's true like you said, it is a good news indeed. I shall see the result tomorrow then, since our myLot earnings are not updated in real time. but one thing that i like about this big chance is the customization. I'm in looooove with my new profile look. and perhaps will make more changes every now and then. good job myLot!

I never earned 50 cents. I do post responces to my friends discussions and comment to friends responces on my discussions. Well so far i think i have started some 15 Discussions and the maximum replies i recieved was 10 so far. I dont think i am earinig anything from the discussion i have started. All that i am earning is from the responces i post i guess.
Coming to the increase in payments, so far i have some 230+ points and i have earned just $4.64. I dont have any refereals so far which i wasnt really interested in. I dint find any change in the way mylot is paying right from the day i joined. I am here for almost 2 weeks now and there is no change in the way they are paying.
Coming to the new look i wasnt able to customize my profile as well as my home page properly and i tried to revert back to the original which wasn't possible. Any ways it wont effect my coming to mylot and post here.
