Were your school days the best of your life?

I remember when I was at school I did not like it. All the adults would say to me 'These are the best days of your life'. Well I left school many years ago after completing my education and not once have I looked back and said 'those were the best days of my life'. I never ever say it to my children or grandchildren either. Any one else feel the same?

My school days were certainly not the best days of my life. I did have a good time at junior school but I was teased all the way through secondary school and it was real hard work. I have only just started to really enjoy life now I am in my 30's and have a lot more control over what I am doing with my life.

Glad that you have a lot more control over life now. At school it's all planned out for us. OK, i know we have to learn and I went to nice schools, just did not like the regimental way of it.

I didn't like school till high school. High school was great, graduate school was good and hard, but fun at the same time. Over the years I learned how to "learn" so I am self study person. I love to learn on my own...do I miss school? no...

It's great that you like to study, I do to! But when you are older you are treated with a little more respect and not just a number. I would never ever want to go back to school!
