I am Indian and I have a Paypal personal account since August 2004.Till today I have had no problem whatsoever in any of my online transactions either receiving or sending money. You need a credit card to be able to withdraw money or you have to wait till the balance in your account is US$150.You can then request them to send you a cheque.

With paypal you can get a debit/crdit card after having your account open for 60 days. I have seen storys of ikobos stealing peoples money alot. Ikobo is a company in georgia which is in the united states where i live but from what i have seen on the net other countrys haven't had good luck with it.

Ikobo is good for india , because if u use paypal u should have a credit card or online visa logo debit card . If u would like to go for paypal see that you open a personal account only and not business or premium .
