A friend is someone who sticks by you through thick and thin , never once judging your for your bad judgements, but gives understanding, and compasion. a freind will have dissagrements with you, maybe even get mad at you, but is able to say Im sorry and never holds a grudge. a friend feels like family... and maybe closer than family, loyal, honest and is able to tell you when your doing something wrong

For a long time, I've wondered about the meaning f the word "friend." I never been able to answer questions such as, if I have a more meaningful conversation with someone in a bar or online than with someone I've been known for a while, who is the friend?
Does it have something to do with consistency?
Is it some sort of proof that one of those people would make an effort for me in a bad situation?
So; here is my View;
an individual who would not let you down even under direct menace to him- or herself; a person to whom one could securely entrust one's controversial thought...since since he or she would never betray them. It is an Art of humans
