Our teacher are good. We need to look for them. We should increase there salary and train them. Our school facility need to be look up. There is an increase in demand for teacher abroad and these need to look up closely so we could import more teacher than maid.

Yeah, I believe, we have high potentials in having great teachers. I hope so, their efforts would be recognized as their job is not as simple as we thought.

They are good.. but the problem is supply exceeds than demands so there are teachers out there who are under employed.. Some teachers in my university leaves because of low payment. The teachers should earn a high credit because they work hard..

Yeah, and besides, they must be the one given the highest demands because without them, what would our citizens be?

They should be given credits for choosing that profession. My mother was a public school teacher and I was proud of what she did as I saw that many of her students are now doing well in their professions. They are even earning better than my mother who is now retired. I am just sad that their plight is somewhat being neglected by our government. That is the reason perhaps why the education sector is in its worse shape than compared to several decades ago. I even married a teacher myself. :D

How great your mother is. The fruits of her hardwork is worth it somehow.

well, liz, our teachers here in the Philippines are one of the best teachers in the world! i should and must say that they deserved the highest respect any countryman can offer! they are for me, the living heroes. please know that my mother is a school teacher, a principal in a private school. honestly, when i was in my early teens, i did not really appreciate the role my mother has to do --- being a teacher, not only at home, but to a lot of kids in school as well. maybe that feeling then was due to my teenage mind! that changed in my later years in college--- the role of a teacher as molders of young Filipino minds is really great and heroic. Filipino teachers, not only teachers --- are being sought after throughout the world! We, as Filipinos, must be proud of this! Now my mother is a retired one, yet, the respect of the many that she has touched through her teachings and coachings--- will and forever be cherished even now she's out of school campuses! the learnings were already imparted, and teaching is quite a punch to all which is a must! be proud liz, we're Filipinos at par with world's demand on what is best!
