US Attorney firings

While not illegal this goes against unwritten political and presidential codes of conduct. I will admit I am no fan of the Bush administration but this just seems like another bungled attempt to protect the Republican party. Thoughts?

Bush fired 9, Clinton fired ALL OF THEM. Why do you care now? I think thats the real question you need to ask.

Normally they are fired at the beginning of a term not in the middle when they are mid-investigation. I don't care that they got fired as much as to what they were investigating when they were fired.
