I think having to cook supper is the worst part of the day! What do you hate the worst of things you have to do every day?

When my kids were little I used to call that part of the day the "witching hour". Just as I was about to get dinner ready they would both get cranky at the same time. I was ready for a long nap or a long walk after I was finished with dinner.

Usually it ends up being the time after the kids get home from school and before dinner. DS needs a nap, kids need to do homework, things need to be cleaned up, and dinner needs to be made. If DS won't go to sleep, or we have to run errands, things get messed up and I end up getting rushed and frustrated. DS comes first since he's a toddler, and it's hard to have to deal with everyone else too. Then I usually end up having to wait until after DS gets to bed for the night before I get to eat anything...

I think it has to be the time from when I get them home from daycare until dinner is on the table. They are all cranky and hungry and wanting my attention. It is absolutely enough to make me insane for those couple of hours! Some days I want to run out of the house screaming....but of course I cant really do that. It seems to be a pretty common time for most kids. It really sucks and I really hate that part of the day.

The thing I dread most everyday is having to wakeup around 5:00 am because I never manage to get to bed before midnight most nights!

i really dont find anything 'hard' about being a mother. the fact is, i like being one. perhaps the most challenging time in motherhood is when you start losing your patience. i used to like running around and chasing my son for bath time, or tucking him in bed at my imposed bedtime. now that he has grown older, i guess i am also getting tired of all these. sometimes, my anger gets the better of me that i have to do some drastic measures to make sure my son follows what i tell him. nothing violent here, just a little bit more punishment, like no tv or no snacks...

For me I guess it would be getting up in the morning having to get ready for school and all. I wish we could sleep in and just get up whenever we want to and not have to rush or anything =)

My worst part of the day is waking up. I have a hard time waking up in the morining and some mornings when my baby wakes me up all I want to do is go back to sleep. I usually enjoy the rest of my day , except when I have a lot of cleaning to do. I love being a stay at home mom to my daughter.

As for me, to get up in the morning is really hard for me. My son is 7 months old, and I have to get up several times during the night to feed him, or calm him down if he starts to cry. I can hardly fall asleep after each time he awakes me, also because of my snoring husband near me. :) So, when my little boy wakes up at about 6-7 in the morning, I'm already exhausted. Luckily, my mother (we live together with my parents) wakes up early, so she takes care of my son while I have a couple of hours to sleep. Then I can hardly get up myself, so I always ask my parents to awake me, otherwise I can sleep for very long time.

The worst part of the day for me is right after dinner. My two boys are 5 and 3 and everyday, without fail, right after dinner they go crazy. Running, screaming, getting into everything. I try to take them for a long walk asap. The walk works but isn't always possible.

Since I am a new mom, contrary to others, I really like spending time with my baby. So, the worst part of my day as a mom is in the morning when I have to leave my baby and go to work. It's even worse if I go home and find her already sleeping.

Getting up at 5 in the morning because she's awake and won't go back to sleep, haha.

For me it has to be picking my son up from school. I am always glad to see him, but not always glad to hear about his day. Was it a good day or a bad one? Is there a note in his bag? How much homework do we have to argue over tonight? Even with a wonderful, understanding teacher my son can really push some buttons!! LOL! He's just like his DAD!

I hate lunchtime. It's always easy for me to figure out what to make for supper ( or let my husband cook) but coming up with something nutritious but light for lunch is irritating. I make scrambled eggs, or potatoes with mashed veggies or sometimes even a peanut butter sandwich. It's not hard, but for some reason I don't like doing it. Silly eh?
