yes.. of course, she so beautiful.. so sad, when she left charmed...

She wasn't getting along with Alyssa Milano is what I've heard. I liked her, but now that I think about it, I don't think the show would have lasted as long as it has if Shannon had stayed. I like Rose and Paige even better than Shannon and Prue now.

I've come to like her character more as I've been watching the show but I like Paige better. I heard that she wasn't getting along with the costars and so they killed her so the show would still stay on the air.

well prue and piper were my favourite, I really liked the series till season 3, after that the serie wasn't the same anymore, the reason why shannen left was because she couldn't get along with allysa milano... I wish they wrote a fanfic about prue's afterlife or something...

i think shannon doherty got fired from charmed because she was getting in to much trouble of show and haveing agument with the others

I've heard many different stories about the reason she left. But the one factor that stays pretty much the same in every version is that Shannon Doherty and Alyssa Milano just didn't get along. The series has ended though, but there are reruns on here in the US almost every day, around four times a day, so it is still a very popular show, even though there's not any more new episodes. I love the show, and watch it every chance I get. I think I've seen most of the episodes at least three or four times, lol.

She seems to have a history of walking off when shows are going really well. She did this before with 90210 and Spelling took a chance on her with Charmed. He knew she could do it again but probably was hoping she'd learned her lesson after she'd done it before to him. Obviously not because from what I understand she was very difficult to work with and then just decided to leave. I have heard she's done this with other things as well, play productions etc. When things go great she runs, I don't know why. I liked Rose McGowan and Paige better then Pru so that worked out well for me. If you go back through and watch the first three seasons though there are a lot of hints that Pru will not last. That she will die young. I think Spelling wanted to make sure all his bases were covered in case she walked off once more. He did a good job at it too in my opinion. How they brought Paige in was well designed and really worked for the storyline, far better then if they had just replaced Shannon with a different actresses.

Well sadly she can't go back on the show because they are no longer making it. I don't know for sure the reason why she left but I heard a rumor that she wasn't getting along with Alyssa Milano. I liked her as Prue but I also liked Rose McGowan as Paige.

Unfortunately, even if the show was still being made, that wouldn't be possible. Spelling took a chance with Shannon Doherty despite her rocky relationships with costars and he made it clear that he wouldn't tolerate a repeat of what happened with 90210. Doherty and Milano were not getting along anymore and it was beginning to come through on the characters in the show. To top it off there were problems with other cast as well which is why she walked away.
