Why Steve Gerrard always be changed his position?

As we know, often changed from the middle to the right. and often can't play well. I completely don't understand.

i gues its probably because there are too many good central midfielders in the team whom u just cannot put on the bench for every game...Alonso, Sissoko, Mascehrano, Gerrard.. it happens to be that gerrard is the only one of the 4 (above) who can play in three positions i.e as a centre forward, a central/attacking midfielder and on the right.. Rafa just has too many good options for the centre. He does not want to waste talent by putting them on the bench..so gerrard is thrown around everywhere so he is flexible.

Yeah, there are many talent players in the team, but i do believe we all want to get the best result.

I think he is a great midfield player, but i agree with you that its confusing why benitez makes him change his position almost after every match which leads to his below par performance. well maybe benitez does not feel there is any other midfielder that can adjust like gerrard does.but i would like to see him play on the centre more often as it provides him to kick those long range shots.

Its' just bcoz he's d best man in d team & can adjust anywhere. Moreover, being a captain he needs 2 manage every1 on d field so dat d net result is good.

the thing is steven geraard can play well anywhere on the pitch and thats why benitez puts him wheres best. he is one of the best english players for club and country so far =)

just b'cos he is so good and he can play in anywhere & every position in the team, except goalkeeper :) who knows he can play this position as well.

Absolutely,he is a good player. But there's still the betst position for him, and he should put on the best position where he can release all his power.
