Mark 12:30 God wants all He wants/desires your devotion, no little bits of you life. 4 Characteristics of Worship 1. God is pleased when our worship is accurate - to " worship in truth"= means to worship is truly revealed in the Bible. 2. God is pleased when our worship is worchip is authentic- heartless praise is not praise at all! It is worthless, an insult to God. * God pleasing worship is deeply emotional and deeply doctrinal we use both our hearts and our heads. 3. God is pleasd when our worship is thoughtful God is not pleased with thoughtless singing hymns, perfunctory praying oc cliches, or carelss exclamations of "Praise the Lord", because we cant think of anything else to say at the moment. If worship is mindless, it is meaningless.You must engage your mind. Everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way. 1 Corinthians 14:40 4. God is pleased when our worship is practical. One thing worship costs us is our self centeredness. We cannot exalt God and ourselves at the same time. It should be accurate, it should be authentis, thoughtful and practical worship. A kind of worship that starts from within. A worship that I evident in every human heart, mind and human strength.I pray that God will grant me the worship that he longs for his children.
