if you add up your money, how are you really doing? Have you figured out how much you are making an hour? Is it enough to cover your time and electric? If it is worth it, tell me how?

lol If this is all I am worth, then I am really cheap, cheap labour. No, I have definitely not made enough to cover anything. When I was a teacher, I made a good living. What I make here in one day would be less than what I made in a minute's worth of teaching. But...at least I don't have any books to mark!

My computer is all the time weather anyone is on or not so for me it is defintely worth it as everything else is extra money . I do keep track of what I make but not in an hour but as how much I recieved for the month just because new sites you never know if they are actually going to payout and this one which I love , you don't find out til the next day how much you actually made so it would be hard to figure it out on an hourly rate .

How long have you been on Mylot? Do you know exactly how payment is figured? Is is based on how many discussions or how much input you give on discussions? Please fill me in on anything that will ease my mind. Because this sounds real good. And since I love to chat, talk, and write I figured this had to be a good thing. I'm doing the same thing I do on Myspace for free, so now I can get paid... What a sweet deal.

The amount of money you get is based on the quality of your posts.

How do they judge the quality of posts, with must be what seems like thousands of posts each day. It would be a huge task unless they do it by keywords etc...

yes it is worth it I make an average of $100 a month doing only free stuff ... I have not invested n anything yet I do surveys, read e-mails, sell pictures, write articles ... and of course referrals help ... but you can make a decent amount without them Check this link if you are interested in free sites which pay : www.iamhere2help.mysite.com

Your comment peaked my interest because I see that You do something I've been seeing alot of and wondered about. What's with the selling of pictures? And what company or companies do you deal with?

I think if you work the referral angle, you can probably make some money with less effort. Since I won't spam my friends with emails about this stuff, I have no referrals. Since I make PENNIES a DAY, this is obviously not worth my time. I am hoping to wrap up my $10 for the month, cashout and I'm probably going to call it quits. This is wasting time I could be doing something productive.

I think that's the important thing. As long as it's fun, it's okay. I can't believe how some people post on MyLot for hours and then complain that they only make pennies per hour. It's not about money, it's about fun. A job is about money because you are hopefully making significantly more.

On MyLot, no. On other sites, yes, it can be. In stock photos, I make residual income. So I could just leave that up, have my internet taken away, and come back to some money 3 months later. Not much, but something for basically no work (other than the work at the beginning). As far as writing articles, I tend to make about $10 an hour doing that, so that's not bad. As you can see though, I don't make a whole lot. I have posts dating over 4 months back saying how I'm saving for a camera. And notice, still no camera. And I had started saving even before I came to MyLot.

Hi CaroleeKaufold, While I am reaching payouts that do actually cover my isp fee, I wouldn't say it's paying a regular wage yet, but I'm working on it. For the last two years I have actually managed some respectable payouts & hope to keep the ball rolling for years to come. Who knows, maybe one day, it will, since I'm finding new ways to earn all the time. :)

I am not sure yet if those site would really pay me. I just try some of them thru my friends referral. I hope they really do so, this would help me alot if it does happen. But I find it hard to earn online.

To me, this is just for fun. Any money from here will not change my life significantly.

Hi, I think you have to try out a few schemes and find whats right for you. I have a blog which I post my total earnings online every day - so you can get an idea of how much each site makes. good Luck http://31-day-challenge.blogspot.com/ x

I compute it on a monthly basis. With everything I do including the money I make blogging and from ebay, I make a few hundred dollars a month which supplements my part-time job. I do this in my free time which I would otherwise use to probably spend money instead.
