Dozer the cat's mom Twister rabbit and her start in life

I started a discussion about how Dozer the cat was mothered by Twister the bunny.Well Twister hard a rough start in life also.After she was born her mother killed her siblings and had her by the throat when my son Caleb her the squeeling fro the rabbit cage and rescued this little hairless creature.I told him that the little thing would not live but helped him with a doll bottle and some milk.The problem with these babies is usually keeping them warm because they have no body fat well as luck had it Caleb had the little thing on his chest while reading when our simese cat climbed on his chest and started licking the baby rabbit.Cab thought she was intending to have a snack so he put her down on the floor and went back to his book.She climbed up again and quickly snatched the baby bunny and ran with it.We looked high and low fearing the worst .After about 2 hours passed and we figured the little bunny was gone for good I opened a drawer in Calebs room to put away clothes and her was Tigre(cat) laying with the baby bunny trying to nurse her and she was licking the baby like it was her own.Of course the baby was getting no milk so kept twisting around at every lick so we named her Twister.It worked out well because we would feed the little bunny and Tigre would clean it up and snuggle her to keep her warm so it didn't surprise me when she returned to favor to Dozer. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/935974.aspx Cheers
